Stranger in 3 feet

This set of photos reminds me of the very first photography assignment from my uni teacher Mr. Lo. The topic “stranger in 3 feet” was to encourage students to build up their courage in taking photos of the unknown. This still remains as my favorite topic. The reaction of people is full of surprise. Sometimes you get the composition ready and wait for the person, sometimes you need to talk to them so to reveal their true personality, sometimes you just shoot straight on to their face and ran away.. every single time there’s a surprise of their reaction, as well as my own. You can probably imagine what was happening when I took these photos, and I look back, these are always the most memorable moment than any other photos I took.

And here, my very first photography assignment, Stranger in 3 feet, taken in Hong Kong. A nice memory.
